Man injured in overnight stabbing on Syracuse's south side

Syracuse Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred late Monday night on the city's south side.

According to police, a 21-year-old man was stabbed multiple times on the 100 block of Roney Lane just past 11 p.m. Monday. Syracuse police said the victim was taken to Upstate University Hospital and his injuries do not appear to be life threatening.

The victim said he was arguing with another man when the suspect stabbed him. Police do not have the suspect in custody.

They describe his as a black male, wearing a black t-shirt and jeans.

Officers and detectives are currently investigating the incident, and are asking anyone with information to contact the Syracuse Police Department.
