Missing Spafford man found dead behind home

SPAFFORD, N.Y. -- The body of 33-year-old Thomas Poppenger was found Saturday in a wooden area behind his Shamrock Road home, according to New York State Police.

Poppenger's family members reported him missing Aug. 20.
