New York state fair holds job fair
SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The New York State Fair will be holding a job fair this weekend.
The fair is looking to fill temporary positions needed for this year's event, which runs from August 22nd through September 3.
There are hundreds of different positions available including positions for parking, cashiers, customer service and more.
Event organizers said there are certain requirements that need to be met before applying for any positions.
Applicants must bring: two form of unexpired identification, valid and original New York State working papers if they are under 18 and a copy of their DD-214 forms if they are military veterans.
According to event organizers, inability to work all days of the fair will limit the positions available.

The event will be held at the science and industry building at the New York State Fairgrounds.
The job fair will run Friday, June 8, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, June 9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
