Ohio State Highway Patrol arrest Upstate NY man accused of murder
The Ohio State Highway Patrol has taken the Upstate New York man accused of murder into custody.
Paul Randall, from Dolgeville, N.Y., is accused of running over Scott Reichard, Ohio, over at a rest area.
According to troopers, they were called to a northbound rest area on Interstate 77 to investigate a fatal crash involving a pedestrian.
Witnesses told officials the two men were involved in a verbal fight. The Randall then stole the victim's pickup truck and when he was driving away knocked over the victim and ran him over, according to officials.
Troopers said the Reichard's truck was located abandoned in a downtown Cleveland parking lot.
