Onondaga Lake cleanup to restart with new odor control measures

New odor control measures are being put in place following neighbor complaints about foul smells.

Those new measures will be put in place as dredging resumes for the Onondaga Lake cleanup.

Honeywell, the company handling the project, is expected to begin dredging again Wednesday after shutting down operations for the winter.

A 35 foot windscreen will be put in place as well as a larger order misting system.

Several neighbors in Camillus filed a lawsuit against Honeywell last month after they say the dredging has caused health problems.
