Oswego Co. teacher charged with sending inappropriate Facebook message to student
TOWN OF PARISH, N.Y. —
An Oswego County teacher has been arrested for allegedly sending inappropriate Facebook messages to a student.
According to New York State Police, Joseph R. Pappa, 48, of Oswego, was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor.
Pappa, a school teacher at Altmar-Parish-Williamstown School District, is accused of sending an inappropriate Facebook message to a 16-year-old female student.
He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Parish Court on June 26.
