
Syracuse Police are investigating an incident that left seven men stabbed and one person with a head injury at a bar on the city's north side.
According to police, officers were dispatched to Cougars Bar at 722 Butternut St. around 2:25 a.m. Monday in regards to a fight that occurred inside the bar. When they arrived, officers were advised several people had been stabbed during the fight and some had already left the establishment, police said.
Officers then located a 36-year-old man at the scene who was suffering from stab wounds to his abdomen area. He was transported to Upstate University Hospital for treatment.
While investigating this incident, police were advised that additional victims were arriving at the hospital seeking treatment.

All those injured were treated and none of the injuries appear to be life-threatening, according to police.
