Man found dead in the woods in Apulia

TOWN OF FABIUS, N.Y. -- Searchers have found the body of a man who went missing since Friday in Apulia.

State police tell us the body of 41-year-old Frederick Rose, who had been missing since about 1 p.m. Friday, was found by a K-9 unit in a wooded area near his home on Baker Road in the Town of Fabius. State police say they're investigating the circumstances surrounding his death, but they add that Rose had depression issues.

The search for Rose involved a state police helicopter Saturday morning, and overnight the Apulia Fire Department's volunteers were among those searching near Baker Road.
