One of Central New York's popular Halloween attractions is being inundated with fake tickets.

The Onondaga County Sheriff's office is investigating the attempted use of counterfeit tickets at Fright Nights at the Fair, Seeber said Saturday night.

"There are several floating around on places like Craigslist and Facebook," Grazi Zazzara, operator of Fright Nights, said. "Somone was duplicating our tickets."

Seeber said Monday afternoon that "several persons of interest" have been interviewed.

The only place to buy tickets for the haunted attraction is at the New York State Fairgrounds itself.

The attraction is open Friday-Sunday nights through the end of October.
