New York State Police identify motorcyclist killed in 481 crash
CICERO, N.Y. —
A motorcycle diver has died from his injuries after a crash on State Route 481 in Cicero, according to New York State Police.
Troopers identify the driver as 58-year-old Andrew Lafleur.
State Police said the crash happened around 2:15 p.m. on 481 just south of exit 10, Bear Road, in Cicero.
Troopers said Lafleur was driving on 481 in the passing lane when he lost control of the motorcycle, exited the roadway, and crashed into the center guide rail.
Officials said he was thrown from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Both 481 northbound and southbound was reduced to one lane while troopers investigated the crash, but they have since been reopened.
The crash remains under investigation.
