SU offering free football tickets to veterans and active duty troops

Syracuse University is celebrating all veterans and active-duty military throughout the 2018 football season with the Military Appreciation Program. Syracuse's Military Pass provides veterans and active duty military two complimentary tickets to a home football game each month of the season starting with the September 22nd game against University of Connecticut. Other eligible games include the North Carolina game on October 20th and the Louisville game on November 9th.

Saturday September 22nd is Military Appreciation Day at SU and active duty and veterans planning to go to the Connecticut game can get 4 free tickets.

The Military Pass complimentary tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and must be requested at least five (5) days prior to the game. Veterans and active duty military can register at to reserve tickets.

ln addition, Orange fans, season ticket holders, donors and businesses who want to show their support for the troops can do so through the 'Cuse for the Troops program by sponsoring a military member's ticket to the Connecticut game. More details on how to donate tickets are available at

Active duty servicemembers and veterans who are are unable to sign up for the Military Pass for whatever reason, will still have the opportunity when gates open on game day to purchase discounted tickets. These tickets will be the best available, reserved upper level corner/end zone seats for $10 each (limit of four) to any of Syracuse's six home games. Military ID must be presented to receive the discount.
