An investigation at SUNY Oswego has determined that online threats made against the Young Americans for Freedom group were not made by students at the school.

Tyler Toomey, the YAF Chairman, said that they will not be pressing charges at this time.

“We are glad to see that these threats had not come from members of our campus community,” said Toomey. “We know that Oswego is a place where students can learn and expand their knowledge inside and outside the class room.

Our organization would like to thank the University and University Police for taking immediate action to investigate these threats. We stand by our support of securing our border. We look forward to continuing to promote this as well as other issues our organization cares deeply about on campus in the future.”
