Syracuse boudoir photographer helps everyday women feel sexy

As a business woman in her 40's, Nancy Butler of Syracuse was looking to get her groove back.
" I think it's very important for a woman who's a little older to get in touch with her feminine side again and take a look at who she really is and how she really feels about herself. It's rewarding," says Butler.
After a photo shoot with Jackie Vidler of Enfoque Intimates, whose studio is located in Syracuse, Butler started seeing herself in a new light.
"It was empowering. Very empowering," says Butler.
Sarah Harrington, a mother of two from Camillus, had trouble accepting compliments before her session.
"My husband would say you look so beautiful and I would say oh stop. I think a lot of people can relate to that where they don't even hear the love that's being given to them because of their own insecurities," says Harrington.
Erasing those insecurities and finding your inner beauty is why Vidler calls her job a labor of love.
"I want all women to see how absolutely beautiful god made you because we don't see that on a daily basis," says Vidler.
The basic package will cost you $185 and it includes a makeup session, a chance to choose from hundreds of outfits and more than15 sets to find the look that's just right for you.
In the selfie-centric world we live in, it can be hard to feel beautiful.
"I think right now in our culture everywhere you look there's something to compare yourself to and there are things on TV. So when you look at yourself in the mirror, you can't really see you. You see all the things that you aren't a lot of the time," says Harrington.
Cheri Baldwin of Cicero says Vidler creates an environment that makes you feel comfortable.
"Never have been one for pictures. If anyone tries to take my picture I'm like get away. It's not me. And she was like no, you just make it about you. It's a day all about you. She just made me feel pretty," says Baldwin.
You walk away with photos that can make a great christmas gift for your partner , but really, it's a gift for yourself because the proof of feeling beautiful is priceless.
