Syracuse man dies in motorcycle crash

SULLIVAN - A motorcycle driver is dead after a crash in Madison County.
It happened just before 9 p.m. Tuesday. State Police say they responded to a crash involving a car and motorcycle on State Route 31 in the town of Sullivan.
Police say a car was heading eastbound and tried to take a left on Kennedy Lane when a motorcycle heading westbound hit the car. Witnesses told police the motorcycle was going more than 100 m.p.h. before the crash.
Erick Villafane-Rolden, 28, of Syracuse was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car was not injured, according to police.
The investigation is ongoing.
