Deputies arrested three men for allegedly stealing three chainsaws from building on Route 13 in the Town of Cortlandville

Deputies arrested Matthew K. Schooley 32, of Cortland, Michael J. Murtha, 23, of Freeville, and Jeffrey S. Craig Jr., 35, of Cortland.

All three men are charged with felony burglary, petit larceny, and conspiracy. They were arraigned in the Town of Cortlandville Court and remanded to the Cortland County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash or $30,000 bond. They were scheduled to reappear in the Town of Cortlandville Court on Thursday at noon.
