Transplant set for Manlius Police Sgt. battling cancer

A tentative date has been scheduled for a transplant for the Manlius Police Sgt. battling cancer.

Sgt. Ken Hatter is expected to get a transplant from his 9 out of 10 match on November 20th.

The match comes from a 27-year-old man who is in the military.

The family is expected to go to Rochester next week to start chemo.

Several communities held donor drives to help find Sgt. Hatter a match.

Sgt. Hatter has been battling Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma for 11 years and was in desperate need of a bone marrow match.
