Two people have died in a three car crash in the Town of Huron on Saturday, according to Wayne County Sheriff's Office.

It happened around 3:10PM at the intersection of Route 104 and Norris Road.

Deborah M. Caster, 59, of Port Byron was driving a Mazda Miata Convertable eastbound on Route 104 with Anne Stornelli, 73, in the passenger seat.

Caster approached the intersection of Route 104 and Norris Road to make a left turn.

As she slowed to wait for oncoming traffic, John Foro, 69, who was also heading eastbound, failed to see the Miata stopped in the road and struck the vehicle on its rear passenger side.

The impact sent the vehicle into oncoming traffic, and it was hit by a Winnebago operated by Edward Dodge, 53, of Sterling.

Caster was transported to Newark Wayne Community Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. Stornelli was pronounced dead at the scene.

Dodge and Foro were both transported for treatment of injuries.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
