Uber, Lyft offering discounted rides to the polls
Election Day is Tuesday, November 6th and ride-sharing services are making it easier for voters to get to the polls.
Uber and Lyft both say they will offer free or discounted rides to polling places.
Lyft is working with vote.org, TurboVote, and other non-profits to provide discounted rides.
Uber is partnering with #votetogether and Democracy Works to provide similar options for voters.
The cost will depend on the city you live in and how far you live from your polling place.
Be sure to check the price on the app before booking a ride.
Uber will also offer a "get to the polls" button to help voters quickly find their polling place.
