United Airlines announced it will offer a daily nonstop flight from Syracuse to Denver.
The new daily service will start June 6, 2019.
According to the Syracuse Regional Airport Authority, the flight will operate with a two-cabin E-175 regional aircraft.
Airport officials said the flight will offer customers convenient connections at United's Denver hub, while giving them access to domestic and international destinations.
According to the airport, some popular destinations that could see an improvement in flight services and connections include Las Vegas, San Diego, Palm Springs, Wyoming and Colorado.
During Thursday's announcement, Jill Kaplan, United's President of New York and New Jersey said the new service is beneficial for both the airline and Syracuse.

Following the announcement, Senator Chuck Schumer also expressed his support for the new service.
"The announcement of a new United Airlines flight to Denver is yet another victory for Central New York air travelers and is proof of the $65-million renovation of Hancock- $9-million of which continues to attract new businesses and flights to the area", Schumer said.
