It's the last week for signups, for food and toys at Syracuse's Christmas Bureau. Signups at the Oncenter Monday Tuesday and Wednesday, when they're also giving free flu shots to the public, 10 to 5.
On Monday, jury selection starts for Paul Trifunovski, the Lysander man charged with killing his wife and hiding her body. He's turned down a plea deal in the case and wants to go to trial.
Tuesday evening, free Narcan training, at Fleet Feet on Bridge Street in East Syracuse
Thursday evening, Onondaga County Exec Ryan McMahon presents the vision for cCcero at a town hall meeting at Cicero Senior Center.
And here at's Toys for Tots dropoff night..bring your new unwrapped toys to 1030 James, we'll give you cookies and hot chocolate for your donation.
Friday is dropoff day at the Oncenter...businesses and schools can donate more toys and food...for the Christmas Bureau.|
Saturday is Wreaths Across America day...local cemeteries honor veterans’ graves.|
Saturday's also the deadline to signup for New York State of Health --if you want health insurance to start the first of next year....otherwise you have til the end of January to apply for coverage.
Horsedrawn rides start for the winter, at Highland Forest...Saturdays and Sundays til February.
