The holidays may be over, but you can still see decorated trees--free--in Auburn! It's one of our Best Bets

The Festival of Trees continues in Auburn until the end of January. It’s free to look at over a hundred decorated trees.

  • Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Sunday 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
    Lots of nature to watch over the winter. At Sterling Nature Center, there's an Owl Prowl Saturday at noon. It’s free!
    Montezuma's Wildlife Refuge offers a great car ride through the ponds, and it’s also free.
    You may know Syracuse's Junior League for the Holiday Shoppes at the State Fairgrounds. They do a lot more, and they're recruiting new members Saturday ten to noon at the CNY Philanthropy Center. Drop in!
    At Beaver Lake, a snowshoe feast on Saturday evening. Check out music and food and a guided nature hike. Sign up in advance (315) 638-2519
    Ice skating continues under the tree in Syracuse's Clinton square, they're open every day.
    And it is bridal planning season. Check out the big bridal show at the State Fairgrounds Horticulture Huilding Sunday afternoon
