Syracuse Basketball outlasted Northeastern Wednesday night 72-49 at the Carrier Dome.

Oshae Brissett devoured just about every rebound that came his way, with 14 total on the night to go along with an impressive 21 points.

Elijah Hughes enjoyed a great night, too. He scored 17 points.

Overall the Orange out-rebounded the Huskies 41-28 in a win where Syracuse led by double-digits the entire second half.

Jordan Roland, a Westhill High School graduate, scored 9 points including a rare 4-point play with a three pointer and a foul.

Tyus Battle and Frank Howard could only muster two points each, but helped the Orange in several other ways while Buddy Boeheim scored eight and Jalen Carey scored four points with five assists.

With the win, Syracuse is 6-2 on the season.

Just two spots out of the AP Top 25, Syracuse can find itself back in the polls if it can beat its old arch rival.

Georgetown comes to the Carrier Dome at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, a game televised on ESPN.
