Orchard Park, N.Y. (WHAM) - The Buffalo Bills have signed another quarterback for the 2019 season.

Derek Anderson signed a one-year contract for the upcoming year with the team.

Earlier this month, backup quarterback Matt Barkley was signed to a two-year contract extension with the Bills. Barkley had one start in a 41-10 win over the New York Jets in November.

The move solidifies the quarterback room heading into the 2019 season, which could be a big boost to young QB Josh Allen. The rookie really started to take off once he returned from his elbow injury, and had both Barkley and Anderson on the team to help teach and support him.
