Greater Syracuse Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2017 inducted on Monday

It's truly become a stamp of pride for Central New York sports fans, the Greater Syracuse Sports Hall of Fame.

Housed at Driver's Village mall, the Hall of Fame honors the rich history of sports in Central New York.

The Class of 2017 represents that quite well.

Le Moyne's lacrosse coaches, Dan Sheehan for the men and Kathy Taylor for the women both earning the well deserved call along with Bishop Grimes basketball coach Bob McKenney.

Dennis Hennigan is making Central New York proud as the ACC's Director of Officiating for Football. Now the Camillus native is in the Greater Syracuse Sports Hall of Fame.

It's truly a class that embodies what Central New York sports is all about.
