Yet another Syracuse Crunch win streak has come to an end, this time falling in lopsided fashion on the road in Providence.

However, it's important to take the good with the bad when discussing another Crunch win streak.

The hometown hockey team ripped off eight consecutive wins, last losing on January 16.

This time around, the Providence Bruins made sure the Crunch's streak came to an end, winning 4-0.

Syracuse fell behind early, trailing 2-0 after the first period.

From there, the Bruins kept their foot on the gas, peppering shots at Crunch goalie Connor Ingram, who saved 26-of-30 shots.

With the loss, Syracuse falls to 29-14 overall and remain in second place in the AHL North Division, as it travels to Belleville Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
