Syracuse Crunch drop third straight, fall to rival Utica Comets on Saturday

The Syracuse Crunch celebrate a goal during Saturday night's 4-2 loss to the Utica Comets.

The Syracuse Crunch are going backwards.

After ripping off nine straight wins, the Crunch are now in the midst of a three-game skid.

Syracuse has dealt with injuries to some of its top players, including Adam Erne, Kevin Lynch and Dennis Yan, losing some of the firepower that helped lead the Crunch to such a hot streak.

The Crunch will be back in action Wednesday night, on the road at Laval for a 7:30 p.m. start.
