Syracuse Crunch extend win streak to nine games, take down Belleville 6-0

The Syracuse Crunch exploded for six goals in a win over Belleville Saturday night, extending their win streak to nine games.

The Syracuse Crunch continued their recent hot streak, taking down the Belleville Senators, on the road, 6-0.

The Crunch were led by Alexander Volkov's two goals and two assists, while Mitchel Stephens also added two goals to help lift the team to their ninth straight win.

Syracuse, now 13-9-1-2 overall, is now in third place in the AHL North Division standings.

The hometown hockey team will return to action Friday when it hosts the Providence Bruins from the War Memorial for a 7 p.m. start.
