Syracuse Crunch fall behind early, drop uncharacteristic home game to Toronto Marlies
The Syracuse Crunch are hot and cold to start 2019.
After falling on the road at Utica on Wednesday, the Crunch returned home to take down Bridgeport on Friday, only to come up on the losing end on Saturday at the hands of the Toronto Marlies.
The Crunch fell behind early by the tune of 0-3, playing catch-up to the defending AHL Calder Cup champion Marlies.
However, the Crunch fought back behind a pair of second period goals to make it a 2-3 deficit.
But after giving up a late second period goal, the Crunch fell behind 2-4, ultimately falling, 5-2.
Syracuse returns to action Wednesday night in Binghamton for a 7:05 p.m. start.
