Buddy Boeheim announces he'll attend prep school for senior year

Buddy Boeheim poured in 40 points to help lift Jamesville-DeWitt to a Regional Championship in March.

Buddy Boeheim is heading off to one of the most prestigious prep schools in the nation.

Boeheim announced he'd attend Brewster Academy, the defending National Champion, for his senior season.

It does mean he will not be at Jamesville-DeWitt for what would've been his final season as a Red Ram.

Brewster has produced several former Syracuse Orange stars including C.J. Fair and Taurean Thompson.

Boeheim was dominant last season for J-D averaging 26 points per game and showing what he'll be capable of as his game continues to develop.

A move to Brewster only enhances that.

Boeheim will be playing against the best high school players in the nation and his rapidly improving skill set will not only be put to the test, but will be on full display.
