High School Football's Regional Championships set for Section III's best

Homer is one of three Section III champions representing their respective classification in next week's Regional Finals in Binghamton.

Sectional Championships are officially in the books in New York State high school football, as the attention is now shifted towards Regional Championships next weekend.

A trio of Section III teams advanced to Regionals with victories on Saturday.

In Class AA, Cicero-North Syracuse took down Baldwinsville for the second this time season, 56-21, en route to the school's first sectional championship in its history.

Meanwhile, in Class B, Homer held off Cazenovia in a game that began as a blowout, but ended as a tightly contested affair, 28-20.

And in Class C, Skaneateles went down early to General Brown, but fought its way back behind Patrick Hackler's seven combined touchdowns, resulting in the 66-27 win.
