J-D's Jamie Boeheim to continue college basketball career at University of Rochester
Jim Boeheim is on his way to sending a third child to play basketball at the collegiate level.
Boeheim's three kids each followed Syracuse University's hall-of-fame coach's passion for basketball, each earning scholarships to play in college.
Jamie Boeheim, a senior at Jamesville-DeWitt high school, announced her decision via Twitter on Friday.
The senior forward is averaging 9.5 points per game through the first four games for the Red Rams, who have raced out to a 4-0 start on the season.
Jimmy Boeheim, Jim's oldest son, is a freshman at Cornell. Meanwhile, Buddy Boeheim is a senior at Brewster Academy in New Hampshire, and is committed to play for his dad at Syracuse University next year.
