Skaneateles girls move to 8-1 following come-from-behind road win over Homer

Skaneateles junior guard Olivia Dobrovosky poured in a game-high 16 points, helping the Lakers to a 57-50 win over Homer.

The Skaneateles girls basketball team moved to 8-1 overall on the season with a 57-50 win over Homer on Monday night.

Once trailing by 14 points in the first half, the Lakers earned the come-from-behind win thanks in large part to Olivia Dobrovosky and Chloe Metz.

Both Dobrovosky and Metz recorded 16 points each, as the Lakers erased a 14-point first half deficit to come back and win.

Skaneateles will next visit Bishop Ludden on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
