The Westhill boys soccer team has reached the top of the mountain in New York State.

The Warriors held off Briarcliff in the Class B Championship Game on Sunday morning from Middletown High School, 1-0.

Braden Krzykowski scored the go-ahead goal off a header from Reilly Sizing.

The win marks Westhill's first boys soccer state championship in 26 years.

After the game, players shared their disbelief for reaching the ultimate goal.

"It's just a burst of energy," Sizing told NYSPHSAA officials after the game, "it's unlike anything I've felt before."

"It's a moment to remember," Kzrykowski concluded.

Westhill finishes the year 18-3-1 overall and a Class B State Championship.
