Toyota Game of the Week: CNS downs rival Liverpool

CNS beats rival Liverpool 34-0.

It's a battle every time these two teams meet - CNS and Liverpool faced off in the Star Wars Cup.

It was a big night for the North Stars from CNS.

After marching down the field, QB Conner Hayes handed it off to fullback Kyle Cody who barreled in for the game's first score.

The North Stars didn't look back. Next, Hayes dished it to running back Erik Pride who found a hole and scored almost untouched. It was one of Prides three touchdowns on the night.

The CNS crowd was electric tonight.

Liverpool had a tough time getting things going - Kaleb Woodcock had a big sack in the first half on Warrior QB Matt Rioux.

Hayes even did it with the arm tonight - scrambling, he let it fly and found RJ Paparo who reeled it in for the score.

The North Stars win 34-0 and remain unbeaten much to the delight of second-year Head Coach Dave Kline.

"{We] just played as a team, 56 guys all played together - we came out and played together - defense, ran the ball, offensive line offensive live came off the ball it was just a great night," Kline said.

Next week CNS will play host to a tough Auburn team and Liverpool will try to right the ship against Baldwinsville.
