Toyota High School Game of the Week- OCS falls in New York State Quarterfinals

Evan Gantley of Onondaga Central breaks free for a 47-yard touchdown

Onondaga Central's dream season comes to a shocking and heartbreaking close in the state playoffs.

Leading Sidney from Section IV by a score late, Sindey scored twice in just 20 seconds to stun the Tigers 42-36.

OCS ends its season with a stellar 10-1 record.

Former Toyota High School Athlete of the Week Bryce Macina scored twice in the losing effort for the Tigers.

The Tigers were cheered on by famous alum Latavius Murray, now a star running back for the Oakland Raiders.

Murray sent an inspirational video to the team before their Sectional Title game last weekend, this week, he flew in from California to root on the Tigers.

"It's real nice just to come out here and see the guys play" Murray told us.

"It's been a while since I've been home, it's been a while since I've been able to see the guys play so it feels good to be back" he added.

Indeed, Murray is proud of his Tigers, and so should everyone involved with the program.
