2017 Syracuse Football picked to finish 6th in ACC's Atlantic Division

The Syracuse University football team was picked to finish sixth in the Atlantic Division as part of the annual ACC Preseason Football Poll.

Another year -- another lack of respect for Syracuse Football.

The league revealed its yearly preseason poll, with the Orange chosen to finish No. 6 in the 7-team Atlantic Division.

Syracuse finished 4-8 overall last season under then first-year head coach Dino Babers.

In year two under Babers, the Orange has yet to gain back respect.

With perhaps the most difficult schedule in America (road games at LSU, Louisville, Miami (FL), Florida State and NC State), it's understandable why the media would forecast yet another dismal season for the Orange.

However, Babers has routinely proclaimed his team's turnaround taking place during game four of year two.

If that's to be the case, the Orange should see the proverbial light bulb turn on at LSU on Saturday, September 23.
