Boeheim's Army gave Syracuse Basketball fans something to cheer for during the uneventful summer months.

On Tuesday, that run came to an end in The Basketball Tournament.

Eric Devendorf led the way for Boeheim's Army with 24 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the floor.

However, Boeheim's Army would not overcome Overseas Elite's 10-of-21 shooting from three-point range.

The squad full of former Orange stars trailed 44-40 at the half, standing within striking distance throughout. But with Overseas Elite's stellar shooting from beyond the arc, it seemed to be too much.

Overseas Elite entered the game having won all 17 games played since the inception of The Basketball Tournament, and did not slow down Tuesday night.

With the 81-77 win, Overseas Elite moved on to the TBT Championship Game, which will be played Thursday night at 7 p.m. on ESPN. It will take on Team Challenge ALS for the right to claim its third TBT Championship in as many years.
