The Syracuse University football team entered Saturday's road test at Louisville needing to win each of its last two games in order to play in the post season.

After Saturday, the Orange is left picking up the pieces after a 56-10 blowout from Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.

In a game that was only close in the early moments, last year's Heisman Trophy winner, Lamar Jackson, torched the Syracuse defense for four total touchdowns.

Not to mention, Jackson threw for 270 yards while also running for 111 yards. All together, Jackson accounted for four total touchdowns in the lopsided win.

The Cardinals scored on the second offensive play of the game, only 36 seconds into the contest, and never looked back.

The loss drops the Orange to 4-7 overall and officially ineligible for a bowl game.

Syracuse will host regional rival Boston College in the regular season finale on Saturday at 12:20 p.m.
