The Syracuse women's basketball team dropped its second straight home game Sunday afternoon.

The Syracuse women's basketball team missed a golden opportunity Sunday afternoon.

The 4th-ranked Louisville Cardinals paid a visit to the Carrier Dome, a team that had only lost once all season.

The Cardinals are led by junior guard Asia Durr, leading the team with 20 points per game.

On Sunday, Durr went for 27.

The Orange was unable to contain her, falling to the Cardinals, 84-77.

The loss drops Syracuse to 17-7 overall, and will not play again until Sunday afternoon when it visits Wake Forest for a 2 p.m. tip.

Sunday's loss marked back-to-back home losses for the Orange, who before this week, had yet to lose from the Carrier Dome.
