No. 11 Syracuse Men's Lacrosse routs Binghamton for season opening win

Syracuse senior midfielder Brendan Bomberry tallied a game-high six points in the Orange's 21-4 victory over Binghamton on Saturday.

The No. 11/10 Syracuse University men's lacrosse team opened the season with a bang, taking care of Binghamton, 21-4, on Saturday night.

The Orange left no doubt about it, scoring the first 13 goals of the contest.

Not to mention, 12 different players scored goals for Syracuse during Saturday's rout.

Brendan Bomberry led the Orange with six total points, including five goals.

Stephen Rehfuss tallied five points to go with three goals, while Nate Solomon and Jamie Trimboli each scored a pair of goals.

The Orange will next be in action Saturday afternoon when No. 3 Albany visits the Carrier Dome for a 2 p.m. start.
