Steve Ishmael is having a breakout year in Dino Babers' uptempo offense.

The senior receiver from Miami, Fla. is doing things that Amba Etta-Tawo was doing just one season ago.

And now, Ishmael is receiving national praise, being named to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List.

Through four games this year, Ishmael has eclipsed the 100-yard mark each time. Furthermore, he's accounted for 45 total receptions thus far, which is the most in the FBS.

Ishmael ranks third nationally in receiving yards (512), while ranking first in receptions per game (11.3).

Syracuse senior receiver Ervin Philips joins Ishmael in the running for the Biletnikoff Award, but was named to the watch list at the start of the season.

The Biletnikoff Award is annually given to the nation's top wide receiver.

Ishmael joins four other Syracuse players to be named to a national watch list:

Eric Dungey (Maxwell Award, Davey O'Brien Award)

Ervin Philips (Biletnikoff Award)

Zach Mahoney (Wuerffel Award)

Sterling Hofrichter (Ray Guy Award)
