In a roller coaster of a season already, the Syracuse men's lacrosse team just escalated to new heights once again.

In perhaps their best win of the season, the Orange took down No. 3 Duke, in Durham, on a late goal, 15-14.

Jamie Trimboli, a sophomore midfielder, scored with just over a minute remaining in the contest, giving Syracuse the slight edge.

The late goal would end up being the difference.

If you can recall, Trimboli was the one who dropped Duke one year ago from the Carrier Dome, scoring the game-winner in overtime to send the Orange home victorious.

This time around, the goal lifts the Orange to above .500 on the season, now 4-3 overall on the year.

Syracuse will host No. 4 Notre Dame from the Carrier Dome next Saturday for a 5 p.m. start.
