Dunkin' Donuts donates thousands to the food bank of central New York
SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The annual Dunkin' Donuts fundraiser, which raises money to provide meals to local families in need, raised $30,000 this year.
Each year, participating locations in Central New York host an 'Iced Coffee Day'. For every cup of ice coffee sold $1 goes to the Food Bank of Central New York.
The event took place on May 23 and has been hosted every year, for the past 6 years.
The Food Bank of Central New York said since the campaign started, more than 90,000 families have been helped across the region each year.
The agency serves as an emergency food network, helping to provide over 12 million meals each year to hungry families, children and seniors.
