New York State Fair adds $1 Special Days

Syracuse, N.Y. – Governor Cuomo has announced additional Special Fair Days at the New York State Fair.

During these days, admission to the fair will be just $1 for select visitors.

The specials go as follows:

College Days: Between Wednesday and Labor Day, college students will be able to get into the fair for $1 upon presenting valid school identification.

You Set the Record Days: All fairgoers will be able to get into the fair for $1 Wednesday and Thursday. This is being done in thanks from fair organizers to those who helped set a record over the weekend. Sunday, an all-time attendance record was set for the fair, with more than 123,200 visitors.

Speedway at the Fair: Between Wednesday and Labor Day, anyone who presents a ticket stub from Watkins Glen International Speedway or the Oswego Speedway will be able to get in for $1.

SU and NY Sports Day: In honor of the home opening for Syracuse Football, any visitors who arrive to the fair Friday dressed in their favorite sports team – school, college or professional – can get in for $1.

The fair runs through Labor Day, September 4.
