Amanda Hull joined the CNY Central team in January 2020 and is a weekend evening anchor and reporter.
She graduated from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide), majoring in news media and double minoring in criminal justice and computer science. While in college, she interned at the local television station, WVUA 23 News and at ABC 33/40 News in Birmingham, Alabama.
Originally from New Jersey, Amanda began her storytelling career in high school where she anchored the morning announcements for the local station, MOTV. She also directed a school Lip Dub.
When she’s not tracking down a story, you can find Amanda cooking, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Amanda loves telling stories and is extremely humbled to be doing the job she has always dreamed of. She is excited to serve the people of central New York.
