Maggie DesRosiers

Maggie DesRosiers joined CNY Central as a Multimedia Journalist in January 2022. She comes to us from Dothan, Alabama where she was an Anchor and Multimedia Journalist.

Maggie grew up in Westchester County, New York . She is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications where she majored in Telecommunications News with an outside concentration in Sports Management. Maggie worked for Retro Report, Real Clear Politics and her school’s award-winning newscast in her time at UF.

A question Maggie gets a lot is how to pronounce her last name: DesRosiers (duh-ROW-jurs).

When she’s not working on a story, Maggie enjoys running, art projects and reading. She values spending time with her close-knit family and friends. Maggie loves to spend time outdoors and looks forward to exploring Central New York.
