Water main leak shuts off water for dozens of Syracuse residents
SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The water is shut off in the area of Burnet and Teall Avenue while crews work to fix a water main leak.
The eastbound lane of Burnet Avenue from Winton Street to Greenway Avenue will be closed while crews work.
The westbound on-ramp from Teall Avenue to Interstate 690 will also be closed officials said.
According to Mayor Ben Walsh, the water main break was discovered Wednesday morning while crews were conducting preliminary work for a water main replacement. Crews saw the leak and responded with immediate action Mayor Walsh said.
Officials said the water will be turned back on Thursday at 10AM.
